JOB DESCRIPTION
3 The purpose of employment is as a teacher of English as a foreign language.
Due to the nature of the positions offered and immigration regulations in Poland and the EU, we are only prepared to employ native English-speaking EU nationals or native English-speaking non-EU nationals holding a valid Polish passport/residence card.
Each year, the school employs around 10 teaching staff all of whom are university trained TEFL teachers. There is also an office manager who is responsible for noneducational support, such as the shool's accounts and finances, teachers' salaries and necessary in-house translating.
Each year we also host two native teachers who teach alongside our Polish teachers in the so-called "tandems", where each group of students is taught by two teachers on a rota basis. The Polish teacher is responsible for teaching the formal aspects of English such as grammar, reading, writing, etc, so that the native teacher can focus on the communication skills and cultural content.
